Upaklṛp (उपक्लृप्).—1 Ā.

1) To be fit for; तत्रेदमुपकल्पते (tatredamupakalpate) Bhāg.

2) To be prepared or ready (at hand); आसनेषूपक्लृप्तेषु (āsaneṣūpaklṛpteṣu) Manusmṛti 3.28,8.333.

3) To result in, serve as, lead to (with dat.); वार्यपि श्रद्धया दत्तमक्षयायोपकल्पते (vāryapi śraddhayā dattamakṣayāyopakalpate) Manusmṛti 3.22.

4) To become, take a (particular) form or shape. -Caus.

1) To prepare, get ready, equip; रथम् (ratham) Ve.2.
