Tūkkāṉantam (தூக்கானந்தம்) noun < தூக்கு [thukku] +. A defect in singing with accompaniment, in which the hero’s name is made unintelligible by raising or lowering the voice, etc.; தாள மமைத்து இசையிற் பாடும்போது பெயரைப் பிளந்து கூறுதலாலும் குரலை யுயர்த்துதல் தாழ்த்துதல்களா லும் தலைவன் பெயர் புலனாகாதவாறு அமைக்குங் குற் றம்.
