Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarysarabarīta (सरबरीत).—a (Imit. sara! sara! the sound fancied on a stream of such liquid falling back from the hand.) Thinnish, dilute, sloppy, of the consistence of batter or thick syrup. Used of flour, mortar, mud &c. well watered; of boiled rice, vegetables &c. well diluted and blended with buttermilk, curds, or similar diluent.
