Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionaryrōgavaṇī (रोगवणी).—n (rōga & pāṇī) A discharge of matter (produced by medicines, or by a seton, rowel &c.) carrying off with it the seeds of the disease, and purifying the humors of the body. 2 Any unwholesome juice or sap in plants &c. as carried off by some operation (of steeping, boiling &c.) 3 Disease-engendering rain (such as that which falls under the constellation āśrlēṣa &c.); rain which brings blight or mildew upon the crops.
