1. To be thick, close or crowded; நெருங்குதல். (சூடாமணிநிகண்டு) சிகையனல் பொது ளியதால் [nerunguthal. (sudamaninigandu) sigaiyanal pothu liyathal] (கம்பராமாயணம் இந்திரசித்து. [kambaramayanam inthirasithu.] 20).
2. To be possessed of, filled; நிறைதல். ஞானங் குணங்கல்வி நூல் பொதுளி [niraithal. gnanang kunangalvi nul pothuli] (அரிசமய தீபம் பரகால. [arisamaya thipam paragala.] 7).
