Parāyaṇaṉ (பராயணன்) noun < idem.

1. A person of single-minded devotion, as to an object; குறிக்கொள்வோன். பரானந்த பராயணனாய் வோன் [kurikkolvon. paranantha parayananay von] (கோயிற் புராணம் பதஞ். [koyir puranam pathagn.] 3).

2. Follower of a religion; மதானுசாரி. [mathanusari.] (W.)
