Source: academia.edu: Tessitori Collection I (history)Pañcasahelīdūhā (पञ्चसहेलीदूहा) is the name of a work by Chīhala (classified as Rajasthani literature).—The Pañcasahelīdūhā (in Rajasthani) is included in the collection of manuscripts at the ‘Vincenzo Joppi’ library, collected by Luigi Pio Tessitori during his visit to Rajasthan between 1914 and 1919.—The Pañcasahelīdūhā is a love poem and a classic of Western Indian literature, both Rajasthani and Gujarati. Five ladies describe in turn their condition when, suffering from separation (viraha), they neglect their bodies. And then the joys of reunion. The first one is a Mālaṇī (22), a gardener’s wife. The speech of the other four is announced by transitional phrases: Taṃbolaṇī-vākyaṃ, the betel-seller’s wife, Chīpaṇī-vākyaṃ (after 35), the cloth-printer’s wife, Kalāliṇī-vākyaṃ.
