Paitarā (पैतरा):—(nm) an offensive or defensive move in a wrestling bout; strategic move, counter-move, stratagem; ~[rebāja] a strategist, dodger; see [cālabāja; ~rebājī] strategy, dodge; see [cālabājī; ~rā kāṭanā] to make a defensive more; to change one’s strategic position; ~[rā dikhānā] to show one’s strategic move, to counter-move in defence; to take shrewd steps; ~[rā badalanā] to play to peep, to change one’s strategy; (in wrestling etc) to change the front posture, to change one’s stance; to assume a different posture.
