Source: archive.org: Geography in Ancient Indian inscriptionsNaṃgala or Laṃgala is the name of a river found in India.—Dr. B. M. Barua remarks that it represents the river Nāgāvali, which also bears the name of Laṅguliā. The river Naṃgala lies between the delta of the Godāvarī and Mahānadī. It rises in the hills at Kalahandi, and flows south through the district of Ganjam to empty itself into the Bay of Bengal.
The history of India traces the identification of countries, villages, towns and other regions of India, as well as mythology, zoology, royal dynasties, rulers, tribes, local festivities and traditions and regional languages.
