An arahant. In the time of Padumuttara Buddha he was a garland maker, named Sudassana, and offered the Buddha a handful of jasmine flowers. Thirty six kappas ago he became king sixteen times under the name of Devuttara (Ap.i.142).
He is evidently identical with Anjanavaniya. ThagA.i.128.
