Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarymuṭakaḷaṇēṃ (मुटकळणें).—v c (mūṭha & ākalana) In measuring cloth &c. by the arm. To grasp the cloth after each measurement of a cubit, and, by doubling the fingers inwards, obtain an increase of a hand's length. 2 To play with one's food (boiled rice &c.) by grasping and squeezing portions of it. 3 To beat with gentle and reiterated blows (a lump of dough in kneading it, a weary limb in shampooing it).
