Mugilu (ಮುಗಿಲು):—

1) [noun] a visible collection of particles of water or ice suspended in the air, which brings rain to the earth; a cloud.

4) [noun] ಮುಗಿಲು ಮೂರೇ ಗೇಣು ಇರು [mugilu mure genu iru] mugilu mūrē gēṇu (fig.) to be very much excited from happiness; to be in the seventh heaven; to be floating on air; ಮುಗಿಲಿಗೇರಿಸು [mugiligerisu] mugiligērisu (fig.) to praise highly; to extol;ಮುಗಿಲ ಹೂ [mugila hu] mugila hū a rain drop or drops;ಮುಗಿಲ ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆ [mugila mallige] mugila mallige an ideal, aim, which is impractical hence can only be the fancy of one’s mind; ಮುಗಿಲ ದನಿ [mugila dani] mugila dani a loud, explosive, resounding noise produced by the explosive expansion of air heated by a lightning discharge; a thunder; ಮುಗಿಲ ಕಿಚ್ಚು [mugila kiccu] mugila kiccu a lightning; ಮುಗಿಲು ಮಾಳಿಗೆ [mugilu malige] mugilu māḷige an arbitrary idea; notion; caprice; whim; 2. a whimsical imagination; ಮುಗಿಲ ಧ್ವನಿ [mugila dhvani] mugila dhvani = ಮುಗಿಲ ದನಿ [mugila dani]; ಮುಗಿಲು ಮುಟ್ಟು [mugilu muttu] mugilu muṭṭu (fig.) to reach the highest position; to attain the highest rank, status, etc.; 2. to reach to the climax.
