muḍadāra (मुडदार).—a ( P) Dead and rotting, carrion;--used of bodies or flesh. 2 fig. Foul, filthy, squalid, disgusting, loathsome, hateful, abominable. Used freely. 3 Used with numerous nouns; as muḍadāra kātaḍēṃ n Dead skin. muḍadāra tūpa n Clarified butter remaining from a quantity which has been consumed or applied. muḍadāra tēla n Oil (as of a lamp) remaining unconsumed, stale oil. muḍadāra nakha n A dead, dry, or fungous nail. muḍadāra māsa n Dead or proud flesh (as of wounds or sores). 2 Flesh of an animal that died without having been slaughtered. muḍadāra rakta Extravasated blood: also gore.
