Source: Google Books: ManthanabhairavatantramMadhyamauvallī (मध्यमौवल्ली) refers to the “middle lineage”, according to the Ṭīkā (commentary) on the Manthānabhairavatantra, a vast sprawling work that belongs to a corpus of Tantric texts concerned with the worship of the goddess Kubjikā.—Accordingly, “[...] Who is Ṣaṣṭhanātha? What does he do? He visibly reveals what is meritorious, sinful and the rest, that is, what is to be abandoned and what is to be adopted taught in the Lineage of the Eldest and contained in the sacred seats. Thus this is the descent of the Middle Lineage (madhyamauvallī). (It) begins with Kuleśa, that is, it starts with the venerable Ciñciṇīnātha. Thus it has been explained clearly, that is, proclaimed completely. [...]”.
