lakhalābha (लखलाभ).—m (lakha for lākha & lābha Gain. Gaining of a lakh of rupees.) A term for any exceeding and extraordinary acquisition. Ex. āpalī bhēṭa jhālī hāca āmhāsa la0 jhālā. 2 An expression in the cant of shopkeepers in delivering over an article bought from them, indicative of their desire that the article may prove worth a lakh to the purchaser. Ex. jā hī śālajōḍī tulā la0 asō.
