Kiṭaki (ಕಿಟಕಿ):—

1) [noun] an opening in a building, vehicle or container, for letting in light or air or for looking through, usu. having a pane or panes of glass, etc. set in a frame or sash that is generally movable so that it can be opened and shut; a window.

2) [noun] ಕಿಟಕಿಯಿಂದ ನುಸುಳುವವ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿನಿಂದ ಬಾರನೇ [kitakiyimda nusuluvava hebbagilinimda barane]? kiṭakiyinda nusuḷuvava hebbāgilininda bāranē? (prov.) can he who is capable of utilising even a smallest chance, not utilise complete freedom to his advantage?.
