khārākhīra (खाराखीर) [or खाराखिरी, khārākhirī].—f sometimes khārākhēra f Close inquiry, inspection, or examination. Generally there is the implication of idle or ill-humored particularity. 2 Obstinate contention about a trifle; higgling, haggling, chaffering, stickling; vehement and minute discussion of an unimportant matter; incessant finding of fault and reproving; pettish chiding; cross caviling and carping. 3 Discontented tossing and tumbling about; hard-toplease picking and rejecting. Ex. tū mājhyā mā- lācī khā0 karūṃ nakō.
