Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarykharakaṇēṃ (खरकणें).—v i (khara!) To slip or slide along soundingly; to graze along roughly; to brush; to scrape. Ex. jhāḍāvarūna tyācā pāya kharakalā; mī kharakata tikaḍē gēlōṃ or paḍalōṃ. 2 To rub along noisily on the buttocks. 3 To run down rapidly and noisily--a river, a flood: to run back or ebb--the sea: to clear off smartly--clouds under a high wind: to fall away--flesh, the body: to fall in countenance; to be chap-fallen--a person or tōṇḍa: to subside suddenly or rapidly--a swelling: to take alarm or fright; to be taken aback; as cōra mhaṇatāñca rājaśrī kharakalēṃ.
