Kaṭṭuttāli (கட்டுத்தாலி) [kaṭṭu-tāli] noun < idem. +. The tāli among Maravas which, when some impediment arises to prevent the celebration of the marriage, is sent to the bride, whereupon she is brought to the house of her husband the completion of the ceremony being deferred to a subsequent date, sometimes even after children have been born; மறவருக்குள் வழங்கும் ஒருவகைத்தாலி.
