Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarykaṭamitī (कटमिती).—f kaṭamuddata f ( or H mitī & muddata Cut date or period.) A mode of settling the interest upon a loan; viz. reducing the principal from time to time according to the several payments made with their accrued interest; (loaning and paying upon the rule of) broken periods: also issuing and receiving with interest respectively debited and credited. The words agree with tūṭamitī & tūṭamuddata, and, like them, are mostly used in obl. cases, as kaṭamitīnēṃ, kaṭamitīcā.
