Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarykarakarīta (करकरीत).—a (A fanciful formation from karakara) Brand new; spick and span new; crackling and rustling from newness--a garment, a pair of shoes &c. Applied sometimes to houses, trinkets, vessels. Gen. used after such words as navā, kōrā, tājā, and thus it may be viewed as mainly an adjunct of enhancement. Ex. navā ka0, kōrā ka0. 2 Hard and crackling-- cucumbers, pickles &c. ka0 tinīsāñjā f pl The very height of evening twilight. This is an inauspicious juncture.
