Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarykāñcōḷīpantha (कांचोळीपंथ).—m An order of libertines in Gujarat. They meet on certain days, and, after feasting &c., they put all the kāñcōḷyā of the females into a vessel, whence the mahanta or Superior, after reciting a mantra, draws them and distributes them, at his pleasure, to the males. The woman owning the kāñcōḷī is to be, for that night, the property of the man receiving it.
