Kacchaṭikā (कच्छटिका) or Kacchāṭikā (कच्छाटिका).—The end or hem of a lower garment which, after being carried round the body, is gathered up behind and tucked into the waist-band.

Kacchāṭikā (कच्छाटिका).—(Sanskrit Lex. id.; compare Prakrit [called Deśī; Rambhāmañjarī] kacchaṭṭī, id.; deriv. of Sanskrit kakṣa girdle; end of lower garment tucked in at the waist), in Mahāvyutpatti 5851 = Tibetan ske rags, ska rags, defined as girdle, probably also end of lower garment tucked in at the waist.
