jhulūka (झुलूक) [or झुलक, jhulaka].—f & ad Commonly jhuḷūka f & ad.

jhuḷūka (झुळूक).—f A gentle puff or breath of wind. 2 fig. A fair wind, " the time and tide of men's affairs." Ex. vyāpāra karīta asāvēṃ ēkhāda vēḷa jhu0 vāhilī mhaṇa- jē phaladadūpa hōīla. 3 A faint, indistinct, glancing appearance (of any object). 4 A flow or course; continuous prevalence; a run (as of a wind or particular weather, of rain, heat, cold, of business or trade, of an epidemic or a sickness). The word is imitative, and is sometimes written jhuḷaka.
