jhājaraṇēṃ (झाजरणें) [or झांजरणें, jhāñjaraṇēṃ].—v c To rase, graze, rub off. 2 fig. To rub, to trick out of. 3 To wear and waste through violent usage; to shake and shatter; to injure, impair, slacken, loosen, lit. fig. jhājaramāḍācē garē khāṇēṃ (To eat the fruit of the tree Rub.) Used in ridiculing one fallen from and along a tree, suffering much rubbing and scraping.
