Javvāji (ಜವ್ವಾಜಿ):—

1) [noun] a thick yellowish musky-odoured substance found in a pouch near the sexual organs of the civet (esp. of Civettictis, Viverra, and Viverricula genera) and used in perfume; civet.

2) [noun] a substance with a strong, penetrating odour, obtained from a small sac (musk bag) under the skin of the abdomen in the male musk deer; musk.
