Ghuṇalipi (घुणलिपि).—f. an incision in wood or in the leaf of a book made by an insect or worm and resembling somewhat the form of a letter; सकृज्जय- मरेर्वीरा मन्यन्ते हि घुणाक्षरम् (sakṛjjaya- marervīrā manyante hi ghuṇākṣaram) Rāj. T.4.167. °nyāyaḥ see under न्याय (nyāya); घुणाक्षरन्यायेन निर्मितं तस्या वपुः (ghuṇākṣaranyāyena nirmitaṃ tasyā vapuḥ) Dk.
