ghōṭāḷaṇēṃ (घोटाळणें).—v i To go backward and forward or round and round wildly (as in a maze or labyrinth). 2 To veer, to chop and shift about: also to eddy, to play about confusedly as in a confined place--wind: to be whisked about--straws, dust: to flow in close and intervolved windings, or to whirl in eddies--a river: to be bewildered, perplexed, distracted--the mind.
