Dubbhati, (& dūbhati) (Sk. dabhnoti cp. J.P.T.S. 1889, 204: dabh (dambh), pp. dabdha; idg. *dhebh, cp. Gr. a)tέmbw to deceive. Cp. also Sk druh (so Kern, Toev. p. 11, s. v. padubbhati).
