dubaḷyā dēvācī dīpamāḷa (दुबळ्या देवाची दीपमाळ).—f A mean lamp-pillar, consisting of a few stones rudely piled or a bare pole before the temple of some mean and plebeian idol. Hence fig. a poor or infirm wife of a poor or infirm husband: also a tall, lank, and unsightly person.
