2. Village in hilly tracts; குறிஞ்சி நிலத்தூர். (பிங்கலகண்டு) தழுங்கு மருவியெஞ் சீறூர் பெருமவிது [kurinchi nilathur. (pingalagandu) thazhungu maruviyegn sirur perumavithu] (திருக்கோவையார் [thirukkovaiyar] 127).
