Caṭacīti (சடசீதி) noun < ṣaḍ-aśīti.

(Astronomy) Time when the sun is in the 7th degree of cara-rāci, 5th degree of tira-rāci, and 9th degree of upaya-rāci, considered inauspicious; சரராசியின் ஏழாம்பாகையிலும் திரராசியின் ஐந்தாம்பாகையிலும் உபயராசியின் ஒன்பதாம்பாகையி லும் ஆதித்தன் நிற்கச் சுபகாரியங்கள் செய்யத்தகா வென்று விலக்கப்பட்ட காலம்.
