bījabēndūra (बीजबेंदूर).—m (See bīja & bēndūra) A comprehensive term for the common festivals or obser- habaravances of the Shudra class. v kara. Ex. āpaṇa āpalē kuṇabī āpaṇāsa āpalā bījabēndūraca barā. 2 The articles (viz. red ochre, raw sugar, earthen images of bullocks, flower-garlands, green boughs &c.) furnished by the village-peasants upon the festival of bēndūra to the pāṭīla, kuḷakaraṇī, dēśamukha, & dēśapāṇḍyā, and, in some parts, to other hakkadāra.
