The rule or mastery of bhālērāva. More commonly understood of the lawless domination, or the ravages and excesses, of fellows fancifully termed bhālērāva, i. e. miscreants who, bearing a bhālā over their shoulders, roamed about plundering and oppressing; also of daring outrage, marauding, or brigandage in general. 2 Any overbearing, disorderly, tumultuous, or turbulent procedure.
