bhaḍakaviṇēṃ (भडकविणें).—v c Commonly bhaḍakāviṇēṃ.

bhaḍakāviṇēṃ (भडकाविणें).—v c (Formed from bhaḍakaṇēṃ. To make to roam about.) To send on a fool's errand; to put upon a wild goose-chase; to drive about under delusive professions; to befool or gull more generally.

bhaḍakāviṇēṃ (भडकाविणें).—v c (bhaḍakaṇa or bhaḍa! The sound emitted on a slap.) To slap or smack soundingly. In all the applications of bhaḍakāviṇēṃ some such word as caparākha or thappaḍa is understood. These words being feminine, bhaḍakāviṇēṃ in its preterit (as agreeing with its object, although not expressed) is always feminine. Ex. tyācē tōṇḍī jēvhāṃ ēka bhaḍa- kāvilī tēvhāṃ tō ugā rāhilā.
