bētaviṇēṃ (बेतविणें).—v c (bētaṇēṃ) To make to take the measure of &c. 2 (Cant. with some feminine noun for Smack or slap understood) To give the measure of one's fist (over the mouth or face). Ex. tōṇḍāvara jēvhāṃ dōna bētavilyā tēvhāṃ kabūla jhālā.
