Ativeṭheti, (ati + veṣṭ, cp. Sk. abhiveṣṭate) to wrap over, to cover, to enclose; to press, oppress, stifle Vin. II, 101; J. V, 452 (-ativiya veṭheti piḷeti C.). (Page 21)
