Source: archive.org: Shiva Purana - English TranslationAtīvasumanohara (अतीवसुमनोहर) refers to “one who is extremely beautiful” and is used to describe Śiva, according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.3.46 (“The arrival of the bridegroom”).—Accordingly, as Brahmā narrated to Nārada: “Menā saw with pleasure lord Śiva, the bridegroom of Pārvatī, served by all the gods and who by that time had come there. [...] He was shedding a halo around him enveloping everything. He was extremely beautiful (atīvasumanohara). He appeared to be very young. His limbs had the full complement of their ornaments. He was very attractive to the ladies. He was not nervous or self-conscious. [...]”.
