Atinivṛt (अतिनिवृत्).—f. Name of a Vedic metre of 3 Pādas, the number of syllables in each being respectively 7, 6 and 7; (ṣaṭkaḥ saptakayormadhye stotṝṇāṃ vivācīti | yasyāḥ sātinivṛnnāma gāyatrī dvidaśākṣarā).
