ब्रह्माण्डम् एकं जानन्ति
यत्र जातास् तथा जनाः
मषका च यथान्तः-स्था
औडुम्बर-फलेषु वै
brahmāṇḍam ekaṃ jānanti
yatra jātās tathā janāḥ
maṣakā ca yathāntaḥ-sthā
auḍumbara-phaleṣu vai
brahmāṇḍam—universe; ekam—one; jānanti—know; yatra—where; jātāḥ—born; tathā—so; janāḥ—people; maṣakāḥ—mosquitoes; ca—also; yathā—as; antaḥ—inside; sthāḥ—staying; auḍumbara-phaleṣu—in uḍumbara fruits; vai—indeed.

You know one universe. Living entities are born in many universes, like mosquitoes in many uḍumbara fruits.
