Source: Shodhganga: The significance of the mūla-beras (history)Parankundram (Paraṅkuṉṟam) or Thiruparankundram is one of the six abodes of Murugan in Tamilnadu according to the Kanda-purāṇa. Parankundram is famous for Murukan’s marriage with Devasena.
