Source: ORA: Amanaska (king of all yogas): A Critical Edition and Annotated Translation by Jason BirchAn Abundance (of strength) can be denoted by the Sanskrit term Bhṛśa, according to verse 81ab-82cd of the Dattātreyayogaśāstra.—Accordingly, “Then, from [even] more practice, abundant (bhṛśa) strength arises [in the Yogin], because of which [he gains] the Siddhi of moving across the earth, and he is able to conquer those who inhabit the earth”.
Yoga is originally considered a branch of Hindu philosophy (astika), but both ancient and modern Yoga combine the physical, mental and spiritual. Yoga teaches various physical techniques also known as āsanas (postures), used for various purposes (eg., meditation, contemplation, relaxation).
