The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ग्राह्यग्राहकसंबन्धे सामान्ये सर्वदेहिनाम् ।
योगिनः सावधानत्वं यत्तदर्चनमात्मनः ॥ ८ ॥

grāhyagrāhakasaṃbandhe sāmānye sarvadehinām |
yoginaḥ sāvadhānatvaṃ yattadarcanamātmanaḥ || 8 ||

All people in general, are concerned in making their offerings acceptable to their receiver (god), but it is the meditation of the yogi, which is the true adoration of the spirit.
