The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जन्ममृत्युजरादुःखमनुयान्ति पुनःपुनः ।
विमृशन्ति न संसारं पशवः परिमोहिताः ॥ ३६ ॥

janmamṛtyujarāduḥkhamanuyānti punaḥpunaḥ |
vimṛśanti na saṃsāraṃ paśavaḥ parimohitāḥ || 36 ||

Life and death, old age and troubles, repeatedly overtake every man;but they are beasts who are so infatuated as never to think of these.
