The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.3.36; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
चार्चिक्यं वैजयन्तीं पटम् उरु-पुरटोद्भासुरं भूषणानां
श्रेणिं माणिक्य-भाजं गज-रथ-तुरगान् कर्बुरान् कर्बुरेण ।
दत्त्वा राज्यं कुटुम्बं स्वम् अपि भगवते दित्सुर् अप्य् अन्यद् उच्चैर्
देयं कुत्राप्य् अदृष्ट्वा मख-सदसि तदा व्याकुलः पाण्डवो’भूत् ॥४.३.३६॥

yathā —
cārcikyaṃ vaijayantīṃ paṭam uru-puraṭodbhāsuraṃ bhūṣaṇānāṃ
śreṇiṃ māṇikya-bhājaṃ gaja-ratha-turagān karburān karbureṇa |
dattvā rājyaṃ kuṭumbaṃ svam api bhagavate ditsur apy anyad uccair
deyaṃ kutrāpy adṛṣṭvā makha-sadasi tadā vyākulaḥ pāṇḍavo’bhūt

English translation

“After completing all the ceremonial functions at the rājasūya sacrifice, King Yudhiṣṭhira desired to give Kṛṣṇa sandalwood, a vaijayantī garland, ornaments with the best rubies and gold, elephants, chariots and horses bedecked in gold. Not seeing anything else worth giving, he became afflicted.”
