The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.2.178; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

उत्कण्ठित-वियोगाद्ये यद् यद् विस्तारितं न हि ।
सम्भ्रम-प्रीतिवज् ज्ञेयं तत् तद् एवाखिलं बुधैः ॥३.२.१७८॥

utkaṇṭhita-viyogādye yad yad vistāritaṃ na hi |
sambhrama-prītivaj jñeyaṃ tat tad evākhilaṃ budhaiḥ ||3.2.178||

English translation

“थे wइसे wइल्ल् उन्देर्स्तन्द् थत् उत्कण्ठितम्, वियोग अन्द् योग fओर् गौरव-प्रीति-रस wहिछ् हवे हेरे बेएन् देस्च्रिबेद् वेर्य् ब्रिएfल्य् अरे सिमिलर् तो थे उत्कण्ठितम्, वियोग अन्द् योग ओf सम्भ्रम-प्रीति-रस.”

इति श्री-श्री-भक्ति-रसामृत-सिन्धौ पश्चिम-विभागे
मुख्य-भक्ति-रस-पञ्चक-निरूपणे प्रीति-भक्ति-रस-लहरी द्वितीया ॥

“The wise will understand that utkaṇṭhitam, viyoga and yoga for gaurava-prīti-rasa which have here been described very briefly are similar to the utkaṇṭhitam, viyoga and yoga of sambhrama-prīti-rasa.”

iti śrī-śrī-bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhau paścima-vibhāge
mukhya-bhakti-rasa-pañcaka-nirūpaṇe prīti-bhakti-rasa-laharī dvitīyā
||

English translation

“Thus ends the Second Wave of the Western Ocean of Śrī Bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhu, concerning prīti-bhakti-rasa.”
