The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.2.98; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा व, श्री-दशमे (१०.३८.१०) —
अप्य् अद्य विष्णोर् मनुजत्वम् ईयुषोर्
भारावताराय भुवो निजेच्छया ।
लावण्य-धाम्नो भवितोपलम्भनं
मह्यं न न स्यात् फलम् अञ्जसा दृशः ॥३.२.९८॥

yathā va, śrī-daśame (10.38.10) —
apy adya viṣṇor manujatvam īyuṣor
bhārāvatārāya bhuvo nijecchayā
|
lāvaṇya-dhāmno bhavitopalambhanaṃ
mahyaṃ na na syāt phalam añjasā dṛśaḥ
||3.2.98||

English translation

Another example of longing before meeting (utkaṇṭhitam), from the Tenth Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam [10.38.10]:
“I am going to see the Supreme Lord Viṣṇu, the reservoir of all beauty, who by His own sweet will has now assumed a humanlike form to relieve the earth of her burden. Thus there is no denying that my eyes will achieve the perfection of their existence.”
