The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.3.69; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

महोत्सवादि-वृत्तेषु सद्-गोष्ठी-ताण्डवादिषु ।
ज्वलन्त्य् उल्लासिनः क्वापि ते रुक्षा अपि कस्यचित् ॥२.३.६९॥

mahotsavādi-vṛtteṣu sad-goṣṭhī-tāṇḍavādiṣu |
jvalanty ullāsinaḥ kvāpi te rukṣā api kasyacit ||2.3.69||

English translation

“Sometimes, however, the rukṣa-sāttvika-bhāva of a person who is enthusiastic to dance or perform other devotional acts among the devotees on the occasion of festivals reaches the jvalita stage.”
