The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.1.28; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

तत्र जगत्-प्रीणनादिद्वय-प्रदत्वम्, यथा पाद्मे —
येनार्चितो हरिस् तेन तर्पितानि जगन्त्य् अपि ।
रज्यन्ति जन्तवस् तत्र जन्गमाः स्थावरा अपि ॥१.१.२८॥

tatra jagat-prīṇanādidvaya-pradatvam, yathā pādme —
yenārcito haris tena tarpitāni jaganty api |
rajyanti jantavas tatra jangamāḥ sthāvarā api
||1.1.28||

English translation

The first two types of auspiciousness are illustrated in the Padma Purāṇa: “He who worships the Lord is pleasing to all living entities; and all the inhabitants of the world, both moving and non-moving, are pleasing to him.”
