The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.1.3; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

विश्राम-मन्दिरत्या तस्य सनातन-तनोर् मद्-ईशस्य ।
भक्ति-रसामृत-सिन्धुर् भवतु सदायम् प्रमोदाय ॥१.१.३॥

viśrāma-mandiratyā tasya sanātana-tanor mad-īśasya |
bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhur bhavatu sadāyam pramodāya
||1.1.3||

English translation

“May this work named ‘the ocean of nectar composed of bhakti-rasa always serve as the recreation hall of my Lord manifested in the form called Sanātana (Gosvāmī) for His pleasure.”
